SOLUZIONE!!!!
If this is a double post, or old news,Daschund can remove or unstick the thread. It gives me big trouble on my new system.
Nikon Capture 4.x and probably Nikon View 6.x also, will not work on an AMD-64bit system and Windows XP SP2 installed. The computer will crash (blue screen and reboots)
On other systems you can try to disable the 'Data Execution Protection' . It will not work with the above configuration, because the problem is partly caused by AMDs 64-bit processor.

Update :
This is an temporarily solution (disabling No Execute feature). I recommend changing back to the default after Nikon released a working update.
Go to the control panel (classic view) double click System.
Choose Advanced tab, In the Startup and Recovery section click the settings button.
Then click Edit button in system startup.
This will open Notepad and will open your BOOT.INI file. At the end of the file you will see /NoExecute=OptOut.
Change OptOut to AlwaysOff. Close Notepad and save (click yes and ok).
After reboot Nikon Capture 4 should work without any problems.
