stavo valutando l'opportunità di montare sulla mia D800 uno schermo di messa a fuoco ad immagine spezzata Katzeye e ho notato che nel catalogo dell'azienda mancava la D800. Allora ho deciso di chiedere al customer service, che molto cortesemente mi ha risposto nel giro di 24 ore quanto segue:
"Thank you very much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we are not able to support the Nikon D800/D800E at this time. This is certainly a model we would like to support, but after our initial examination, we found that current technical limitations prevent us from making screens for these
cameras and it is unknown if we will support them in the future or not.
Work is ongoing, but no short term solution is apparent. I will add your name to the interest list for the Nikon D800 and you will receive updates
if/when more information becomes available. I am sorry we cannot meet your current need, but if I can be of any other service, please feel free to ask."
Quindi sembrerebbe che la nostra D800 non potrà beneficiare dei mirini Katzeye per "limiti tecnici" (quali possano essere onestamente non ne ho la più pallida idea). Boh, fatto sta che altre aziende (tipo la Brightscreen) offrono il medesimo prodotto e hanno a catalogo la D800...
In ogni caso mi sembrava utile condividere qui sul forum le info di cui sopra...
